  11. The NOCtool2 Working Group held a relatively short meeting at the 21st
  12. IETF in Atlanta.  The meeting served mostly to report on the revision of
  13. RFC 1147/FYI 2, as well as to discuss the maintenance of ``living
  14. documents''.  On the agenda,

  26. Deadlines and Schedules     The official deadline for catalog
  27.                         submissions will be one month before the next
  28.                         IETF, leaving almost a month to prepare a draft
  29.                         document.  Following an editing session in
  30.                         Santa Fe the document will be put up as ID, and
  31.                         after a period of two months will be either
  32.                         reviewed and remain ID for another two month
  33.                         period, or be submitted to the RFC editor.
  34. Living Documents        The group still hasn't made much headway on how
  35.                         to deal with this complex problem.  Realizing
  36.                         that we are probably not best suited to solve
  37.                         this problem ourselves, we are beginning to
  38.                         look to the IETF and beyond for some input.
  39. Funding                 The issue of funding for a project in which the
  40.                         ``living documents'' problem would be addressed
  41.                         was raised.  Much discussion about requirements
  42.                         for funding, IETF policy, and obligations to
  43.                         funding agencies ensued.  Nothing has been
  44.                         decided, the idea remains under consideration.
